Continuous rainfall, landslides and rising river levels have disrupted traffic along 11 major highways and road sections across Nepal, according to the Department of Roads. The Prithvi Highway is closed at several locations, including Krishnabhir, Chaukibhir, Juwang Khola and Fishling. The BP, Siddhicharan, Mid-Hill, Kaligandaki, Tamor, Rapti and Karnali highways have also been affected by landslides, flooding and damaged roads.
