Police are investigating an alleged illegal gold trading operation after arresting three Chinese nationals with 21.7 kilograms of gold in Budhanilkantha on Thursday. The seized gold is estimated to be worth around NPR 58 crore.
According to preliminary investigations, the suspects had rented a house owned by a person surnamed Bista since last Shrawan, paying NPR 3.3 lakh in monthly rent.
