A total of 788 climbers from 70 countries have received permits to climb 31 Himalayan peaks during Nepal’s 2026 autumn climbing season. According to the Department of Tourism, the climbers are part of 91 expedition teams, including 582 men and 206 women. The department has collected NPR 24 crore 72 lakh 7 thousand 601 in royalties.
