Nepal Rastra Bank has put new Rs 1,000 banknotes into circulation from Thursday, Ashoj 8. The new Series 2025 notes retain the existing size but feature modified colors and several updated security features. The note has a light green color within a purple border and carries the signature of Governor Prof. Dr. Bishwanath Poudel. Its serial numbers begin from Ta/52
