Floods and landslides have disrupted several national highways and major roads across Nepal. According to the Department of Roads, traffic has been completely halted on seven highways, including the Prithvi, BP and Kanti highways connecting Kathmandu. Six other road sections, including the East-West Highway, are operating partially or one-way. Landslides have blocked the Prithvi Highway at Krishna Bhir and other
