Blacktopping has resumed on the Purkotdaha–Arkhawang section of the Saljhandi–Sandhikharka–Dhorpatan Road in Gulmi following the Dashain holidays. Authorities plan to pave around 7.3 kilometres between Purkotdaha and Kallebhir before Tihar using Double Bituminous Surface Dressing technology.
