Members of the Malakar community are making and selling traditional Jhap in Rani Sikiyahi, Ward No. 12 of Biratnagar. These traditional items are especially in demand during Navratri, as devotees place them in prayer rooms dedicated to gods and goddesses as part of their worship rituals.
