Construction of the long-awaited dry port in Dodhara Chandani, Kanchanpur, has reached 26 percent completion, according to the Nepal Intermodal Transport Development Committee. The project, which has a construction deadline of 30 months, is being developed at an estimated cost of INR 2.37 billion. Construction officially began on December 24, 2025, according to Anish KC, an engineer at the committee. The dry
