A 65-year-old man died in a fire that broke out at a canteen operating inside a body garage in Birtamode Municipality-2, Ram Chowk, Jhapa, on Thursday morning. The fire was reportedly caused by an electrical short circuit.
The deceased has been identified as Rudra Bahadur Tamang, a canteen worker and resident of Gauriganj Rural Municipality-2 in Jhapa.
