More than 3,500 passengers benefited from free bus services operated by Nepal Police and the Armed Police Force (APF) in the Kathmandu Valley during the Dashain festival, helping commuters travel amid a shortage of public transportation.
According to Nepal Police Headquarters, a total of 1,406 passengers used the free service provided by three vehicles over two days. Of them, 510 passengers
